Jump roping across 40 countries in 10 years to raise awareness and funds to feed the poor
This is the story of Amir Kazemi and his project ‘Jump for bread’.
In 2018, Amir has jump roped across the entire width of Switzerland (500 kilometers), engaging with communities, people and raising awareness and funds for Care.org’s VSLA project. A woman empowerment initiative. Amir’s project was named ‘swissjumprope’.
Now, he’s preparing for the next 10 years of his life. Where he plans to jump rope in 40 different countries and set up nonprofit bakeries with the funds he collects to feed the poor for many years to come.
